Steven Spielberg is taking back his crown as the king of the summer blockbuster.
The legendary director's latest film "Disclosure Day" unveiled a new trailer during the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 8. Emily Blunt and Josh O'Connor star in the sci-fi movie, the plot of which has been kept a mystery but which seems to involve mankind discovering the existence of alien life.
The new footage opens with a newscaster reporting on a "threat to publicly release government material, long shrouded in secrecy." O'Connor's character appears to be on a mission to disclose this material, presumably proof that aliens exist. He is seen showing something mysterious to another character, who asks, "Are they people?"
"No," he replies.
The rest of the footage is fairly cryptic but offers a glimpse at some thrilling action scenes, including one on top of a moving car, and it builds to a shot of what looks like some sort of ship emerging through the clouds.
