Swiss President Guy Parmelin on Friday visited the Italians who are being treated at Milan's Niguarda Hospital after suffering injuries in the New Year's Eve bar fire at the Swiss resort of Crans-Montana.
Eight young people who survived the disaster, which claimed 41 victims, including six Italian teens, are currently at Niguarda.
Parmelin is in Italy to attend the opening ceremony of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics at the San Siro Stadium.
