After many months of anticipation, the NASCAR Cup Series is back in action for its first event of the year.
While not a points-paying event, the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, N.C., ramps up the season on Wednesday, Feb. 4 after the event was moved from its original Sunday, Feb. 1 date due to a snow storm.

Last season, the Cup Series' return to "The Madhouse" was intense as Hendrick Motorsports' Chase Elliott drove away from Ryan Blaney on the short, quarter-mile oval in the closing laps.
Earlier in the day, practice and qualifying will set the first 20 cars for the main event, while the last three spots available will be determined via a last chance qualifier race.
