Bad Bunny used one of his Grammy Award wins on Sunday as an opportunity to make a bold statement against President Donald Trump’s crackdown on immigrants.

The Latin music superstar, who hails from Puerto Rico, picked up the Grammy for Best Música Urbana Album for “Debí Tirar Más Fotos.” His subsequent acceptance speech was brief and to the point.

“Before I say thanks to God, I’m going to say: ICE out,” he said, referring to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. “We are not savage. We are not animals. We are not aliens. We are humans, and we are Americans.”

“The hate gets more powerful with more hate,” he continued. “The only thing that is more powerful than hate is love. So, please, we need to be different. If we fight, we have to do it with love. Yeah. We don’t hate them. We love our people, we love our family, and that’s the way to do it, with love. Don’t forget that, please.”

The starry crowd, some of whom were wearing pins that read “ICE Out,” responded to Bad Bunny’s remarks with a standing ovation.
