President Donald Trump appeared to claim Friday that Ultimate Fighting Championship will build “literally a stadium” capable of seating 100,000 people for its event on the White House lawn this summer.
Trump has billed the event as a celebration of America’s 250th birthday, which falls on July 4, 2026, but the event is actually scheduled for June 14, 2026 — which is Donald Trump’s 80th birthday.
“They’re going to put up something that’s really amazing,” said the birthday boy. “UFC is coming in as you know in front of the White House. They’re building, literally, a stadium. Going to have over 100,000 people.”
