In the days after federal agents shot and killed Renee Good, we asked readers for their thoughts about the incident and, by extension, the way Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents were operating in Minnesota.
I know that feels like a lifetime ago, but that shooting happened on Jan. 7 ‒ that's not even a month. Now we have a second killing, this time by U.S. Border Patrol agents. Alex Pretti was shot and killed by agents on Jan. 24.
So here we are again, two days after that shooting, asking for your thoughts.
Specifically, we're asking if your opinion has changed at all following the second fatal shooting. Maybe after the first killing, you still wholeheartedly supported how federal agents were operating in Minnesota because they were helping to secure the border. Maybe you saw that first lethal shooting as proof that the agents had no business interacting with Americans and invading cities.
