Southern Railway has announced the regular services of Tambaram – Thiruvananthapuram Central – Tambaram Amrit Bharat (Weekly) Express. The train service will commence from January 28 from Tambaram and January 29 from Thiruvananthapuram Central.
According to a Southern Railway press release, the regular service of Train No.16121 Tambaram – Thiruvananthapuram Central Amrit Bharat Express (Weekly) will depart from Tambaram at 5 p.m. on Wednesdays on and from January 28 and reach Thiruvananthapuram Central at 8 a.m. the next day.
Train No.16122 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Tambaram Amrit Bharat Express (Weekly) will leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 10.40 a.m. on Thursdays on and from January 29 and reach Tambaram at 11.45 p.m the same day.
According to the press release, the train will pass through Chengalpattu Junction, Villupuram Junction, Vriddhachalam Junction, Ariyalur, Srirangam, Tiruchchirappalli Junction, Dindigul Junction, Madurai Junction, Virudhunagar Junction, Sattur, Kovilpatti, Tirunelveli Junction, Valliyur, Nagercoil town and Kuzhithurai.
Divisional Railway Manager of Madurai Division of Southern Railway Om Prakash Meena welcomed the train service at Madurai Railway Junction.
