Tiruchi-based businessman M. Muruganandam has been appointed Vice-President of Rotary International for 2026–27 by the incoming Rotary International President Olayinka Babalola. Mr. Muruganandam will serve as the Director Liaison for The Rotary Foundation Programs and Member of the International PolioPlus Committee during 2026–27. He is a Director on the 17-member Rotary International Board, according to a press release.
