A fresh new crop of stars has a date with Oscar.
The Academy Awards nominations were announced Jan. 22, and we were delighted to see so many of our favorite performances in the mix (even with some astonishing shutouts). On-the-bubble contenders Elle Fanning (“Sentimental Value”) and Emma Stone (“Bugonia”) squeaked in at the last second, while Jessie Buckley (“Hamnet”) and Timothée Chalamet (“Marty Supreme”) continued their dominant awards runs.
