President Donald Trump used part of his rambling Davos speech to confront Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney over a speech the latter made Tuesday at the World Economic Forum.

Carney delivered a thoughtful monologue on his nation’s place among all the world’s powers, suggesting that “middle powers” like Canada link arms with other nations on various fronts for mutual gain.

Trump touched on Canada by way of mentioning the “Golden Dome,” a missile defense project the president has proposed.
