Here are six Arab films that will screen at the 76th Berlin International Film Festival taking place from Feb. 12-22.
Screening in the Panorama section, Mohammed Hammad’s thriller follows a young security guard haunted by the loss of his parents.
Danielle Arbid’s film follows a Sudanese migrant and a Palestinian widow who fall in love in crisis-hit Beirut. It will screen in the Panorama section.
Marie-Rose Osta’s short film follows a boy with extraordinary powers in a Lebanese village under constant attack by warplanes. It will screen in Berlinale Shorts.
Set to screen in the Panorama section, Tawfik Sabouni’s film follows five survivors who return to Syria’s Sednaya Prison to reenact their experiences.
