Mattel's new autistic Barbie is just the latest addition to the toymaker's line of diverse dolls.

The Barbie Fashionistas line includes, among others, a blind doll, a doll with Down syndrome and a doll with Type 1 diabetes.

On Jan. 11, USA TODAY exclusively revealed the first Barbie with autism spectrum disorder. The autistic Barbie includes intentional design choices and accessories, like noise-canceling headphones, loose-fitting clothing and a tablet with Augmentative and Alternative Communication apps.

Mattel said the doll was in development for more than 18 months in partnership with the Autistic Self Advocacy Network, a nonprofit disability rights organization that aims to empower the autistic community.

With Barbie's Fashionistas line back in the spotlight, here's a look at the other diverse dolls in the collection.
