A37-year-old Pakistani man got life in jail Friday for murdering a 72-year-old Italian woman psychotherapist after a spell as her daughter's boyfriend near Arezzo in Tuscany in October 2024.
Mohamed Irfan Rhana was found guilty of murdering Letizia Girolami in her home in Foiano della Chiana on October 5, 2024.
Rhana was a family friend and the ex-boyfriend of the woman's daughter.
Anna Maria Loprete, president of the Arezzo Court of Assizes, read the ruling after a deliberation lasting approximately an hour.
