To clear the extra rush of passengers during the Sankranti festival and Republic Day, South Western Railway will operate three trips of Express Special trains between Mysuru and Belagavi.
Train No. 06285 Mysuru–Belagavi Express Special will depart from Mysuru at 8.40 p.m. on January 13, 16, and 23 and arrive at Belagavi at 10.30 a.m. on the following day. In the return direction, Train No. 06286 Belagavi–Mysuru Express Special will depart from Belagavi at 5.30 p.m. on January 15, 18 and 26 and arrive at Mysuru at 6.15 a.m. on the following day.
En route, both trains will have stoppages at Mandya, KSR Bengaluru, Yesvantpur, Tumakuru, Arsikere, Kadur, Chikjajur, Davangere, Harihar, SSS Hubballi, Dharwad, Alnavar, Londa, and Khanapur stations in both directions. These special trains will consist of 23 coaches, comprising AC 2-Tier cum AC 3-Tier (1), AC 3-Tier (3), Sleeper Class (13), General Second Class (4), and SLR/D (2) coaches, a release said.
