Jan. 7 (UPI) -- Nick Reiner, son of slain actor and filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, is scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday for the alleged murder of his parents.
Reiner faces two counts of first-degree murder with a special circumstance of multiple murders and use of a dangerous and deadly weapon.
The arraignment is set for 8:30 a.m. PST at the Los Angeles Superior Court Stanley Mosk Courthouse.
Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner were found stabbed to death in their Los Angeles home on Dec. 14, and police arrested and charged their son Nick, 32, the following day. He appeared in court on Dec. 17, but wasn't required to enter a plea. He's expected to enter a plea at his appearance Wednesday.
