The CPI(M) held a demonstration on Sunday to protest the U.S. military attack on Venezuela, and the “illegal” abduction of its President Nicolas Maduro.
CITU cadres raised slogans condemning U.S. President Donald Trump for leading the egregious acts against the Latin American nation and its President who was elected by the people.
N. Kolanjiappar, Vice President of CITU Puducherry State, presided over the event. S. Ramachandran, CPI(M) Secretary, addressed the protestors, apart from trade union leaders such as T. Murugan and CITU office-bearers Murugan, Mathivanan, Ramasamy, Rajkumar, Vijayakumar, Vadivelu, and Mani Balan.
