Katie Miller, the right-wing podcaster and wife of top White House official Stephen Miller, posted an image Saturday on the social network X of Greenland draped in the American flag.

Miller's post, which included the ominous message "SOON," came just hours after President Donald Trump announced that U.S. forces had captured Venezuela's President Nicolás Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores in a military operation. The news caused shockwaves worldwide, with Trump telling press afterward that "we're going to run the country."

Trump has repeatedly threatened to annex Greenland, the semi-autonomous Danish territory, refusing to "rule out" using force to take it and saying that "we need Greenland very badly."
