Jan. 1 (UPI) -- A body found in San Antonio, Texas, is that of missing woman Camila Mendoza Olmos who disappeared on the morning of Christmas Eve.
The medical examiner said the 19-year-old died by suicide from a gunshot wound to the head, the sheriff's office said.
"This is certainly not the outcome we were hoping for," Sheriff Javier Salazar said.
Her family thanked the community for support and prayers.
