Vizianagaram Superintendent of Police A.R. Damodar advised police personnel to take care of their health, noting that the profession often involves hazards such as night shifts, long journeys and irregular food timings.
Mr. Damodar felicitated Assistant Sub-Inspector Tirumala Raju Suryanarayana Raju and head constable M. V. R. Simhachalam (Rama), who retired from service on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, he urged them to take necessary precautions to maintain good health and wished the retirees a peaceful post-retirement life.
Former MLC Pakalapati Raghuvarma, Gandhi Smaraka Nidhi Vizianagaram city president Karrotu Satyam, Andhra Pradesh Teachers’ Federation honorary president Bankuru Joginaidu and others also felicitated Mr. Simhachalam and recalled his services as president of the Vizianagaram District Police Welfare Association.
