The 44th branch of the Dharmapuri Central Cooperative Bank was inaugurated by Collector R. Sadheesh in Nallampalli block in Indur on Monday (December 29, 2025).
The branch of the Central Cooperative Bank is located on the Paaparapatty road with all safety features, including safety locker facilities and strong room doors, according to the administration.
With the inauguration of the branch, four primary agriculture cooperative societies have been merged with the bank. This would entail the bank providing its service to 15,000 people, including the population of Indur along with the farmers of 30 villages who were members of the merged primary agriculture cooperative societies, according to the administration.
The Collector urged the public and the farmers to avail themselves of the bank services effectively. He also distributed deposit receipts and bank passbooks to customers.
