HuffPost readers who read our previously mentioned gift guide shopped this particular pair – from Amazon brand HomeTop – with ardor, according to our anonymous sales data. The shoes’ popularity might be due to the fact that – in addition to to the delightful fleece construction and memory foam insole – they look just like a perennially bestselling pair from Bombas that costs literally eight times as much and are almost entirely sold out.

Two types of cozy fabric make these slippers supremely comfortable – a fleece lining that the brand promises is moisture-wicking and a “curly fur” upper that’s designed to be poodle-like in its fluffiness. (The shoes are both washable by both hand and machine, but the brand advises infrequent laundering to keep the fabric looking its best.)

The layered memory foam insole is designed to be supportive but lightweight – weighing no more than three eggs, according to the graphic below – and the treaded sole is designed to offer traction on a variety of floor surfaces.

You can get women’s sizes 5-12 – as shopping writer Erica Kam previously pointed out, one downside here is that there are no men’s sizes available – and we spotted a few reviews that advised sizing down, as some experienced some stretching in the shoes’ fit over time.
