“The Daily Show” wasn’t about to sleep on Donald Trump’s growing habit of nodding off at public occasions.
On Christmas Eve, the show dropped a video of the president over a yule log as he repeatedly snoozed during inopportune moments to the song “Silent Night.” (Watch he video below.)
Adding to the burn was a repeating soundtrack of Trump, in attempted digs at former President Joe Biden, declaring he would never sleep in front of cameras.
Trump made such remarks on a show called “Flagrant” and in Coachella, California, in October 2024 ― and lately they’ve been coming back to haunt him.
The president has been caught multiple times allegedly being briefed by the sandman, napping instead of conducting the nation’s business.
