George Conway, who calls himself a “recovering lawyer” and is also the ex-husband of former Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway, has filed to run as a Democrat for Congress, outlets reported Monday.
He would be seeking the House of Representatives seat of departing Rep. Jerry Nadler in New York.
Conway has built serious anti-Trump cred after being offered a spot in his first administration.
He cofounded the Lincoln Project, a Trump-opposing political action committee.
He continues to ride the president into his second term.
