A one-year vocational training course for eighth standard pass persons with a monthly stipend of ₹5,000 will be conducted by SASTRA, deemed to be a university, in association with Shanmugha Precision Forgings.
According to a SASTRA release, the last date for applying for the training course, conducted with financial assistance from Union Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, is December 30.
