The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) claimed it has been declared the single-largest party in the election to 6,859 seats, and the party had won 3,120 of the 6,859 seats in the two phases of local body elections in the State.

“This victory is the people’s blessings on the vision of the welfare of every section under the Central and State governments of the NDA [National Democratic Alliance] led by Modi ji. On this victory, I extend my best wishes to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, and all the workers of the NDA,” Mr. Shah posted on social media platform X.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed his gratitude to the people and party workers for the mandate in a post on social media platform X. “This remarkable success belongs to our dedicated karyakartas (party workers). It is their hard work, commitment, and perseverance that has made this victory possible,” he said.
