The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) claimed it has been declared the single-largest party in the election to 6,859 seats, and the party had won 3,120 of the 6,859 seats in the two phases of local body elections in the State.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed his gratitude to the people and party workers for the mandate in a post on social media platform X. “This remarkable success belongs to our dedicated karyakartas (party workers). It is their hard work, commitment, and perseverance that has made this victory possible,” he said.
