“Something is going to be messed up.”

Mark Raymond, Jr. fully expects that when he travels, especially over the holidays, as someone with a disability.

More than one in four U.S. adults has some type of disability, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

“I'm a power wheelchair user, and I suffer from quadriplegia from about the chest down,” said Raymond.

He was paralyzed in an accident in 2016 and has dedicated his life to helping other people with disabilities through the non-profit Split Second Foundation he founded, which provides comprehensive resources and care.
