Sapthak Bangalore will host Janma Shatabdhi – Nada Namana, a musical tribute marking the birth centenary of Dilruba maestro late D.P. Burde, on December 21, at Shri Akhila Havyaka Mahasabha, #101, 11th Cross, 8th Main, Malleswaram, Bengaluru.
The event will begin at 5.30 p.m. with a Hindustani vocal recital by Dhananjay Hegde, accompanied by Ravindra Yavagal on tabla and Vyasmurti Katti on harmonium. This will be followed by another Hindustani concert by Pt. Venkatesh Kumar, with Keshav Joshi on tabla and Vyasmurti Katti on harmonium.
