Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche warned Friday the Justice Department might not release the entirety of the Epstein files by the end of Friday, prompting a subtle lesson in reading comprehension from Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.).
Massie’s reply: A copy of the Epstein Files Transparency Act, with the timeline and the scope of the documents to be released highlighted in yellow. The relevant parts read "30 days" and "all" of the records.
Massie co-sponsored the act along with Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) to usurp House Majority Leader Mike Johnson (R-La.) last month and force a floor vote leading to the release of the files.
