Dec. 16 (UPI) -- Donald Trump Jr. has a wedding in his near future after fiancé Bettina Anderson recently accepted his marriage proposal.

President Donald Trump's oldest offspring announced the engagement Monday night during a Palm Beach, Fla., holiday party, The Hill reported.

"It's not often that I'm at a loss for words because we usually do the ranting and raving really well, but this is a little different," Trump Jr., 47, told party attendees.

"I just want to wish all of you guys an incredible holiday season, a merry Christmas, a very happy New Year, and to thank Bettina for that one word, 'yes,'" he said.

"You go down there, and you're gonna go and you try to ask, you're not sure what the answer is going to be," Trump Jr. continued. "It's a little bit rough, but she said yes, so that's a big win for the end of the year."
