‘Ponnupole’, an art exhibition curated under the leadership of Shafeena Yusuff Ali, was inaugurated at Fort Kochi as part of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale. Themed on the origin of gold and its influence in the contemporary world, the exhibition, which is held at the K.M. Building on Calavathy Road, Fort Kochi, was inaugurated by UAE Embassy representative Majid M. Nukhailawi.
Ms. Shafeena is the founder of the Abu Dhabi–based Risk Art Foundation. The gold-themed exhibition features works by more than twenty artists from India and abroad.
