Dec. 12 (UPI) -- The Edmonton Oilers acquired veteran goalie Tristan Jarry through a trade with the Pittsburgh Penguins, the NHL teams announced Friday.

The Oilers agreed to send goalie Stuart Skinner, defenseman Brett Kulak and a second-round pick in the 2029 NHL Draft to the Penguins in exchange for Jarry and forward Sam Poulin.

Jarry logged a .909 save percentage and allowed 2.66 goals against average through 14 games this season. He recorded a matching .909 save percentage and 2.74 goals against average through the first 10 seasons of his career.

The 30-year-old All-Star net minder signed a five-year, $26.8 million contract with the Penguins in 2023. He is under contract through 2027-28.
