A new report reveals women's workplace ambition is declining, leading to an unprecedented gender gap and a critical "fork in the road" for many professional women and their employers. This shift comes at a time some organizations are cutting support for women's advancement. Companies must provide equitable resources to reverse this setback.

Women say they are less interested in advancing at work, according to a new report from Lean In and McKinsey, as some organizationzs are pulling back on their efforts to support women’s careers.

These findings highlight just how pivotal this moment is for women and, as Sheryl Sandberg, a cofounder of Lean In and former COO of Facebook, said: “We’re at a fork in the road.”
