Dec. 10 (UPI) -- Philadelphia Eagles coach Nick Sirianni called the notion of benching of Jalen Hurts "ridiculous," when asked about the struggling quarterback.
Sirianni made the comments during his weekly radio appearance on 94 WIP in Philadelphia. He said Hurts is "absolutely" the Eagles' Week 15 starter.
Hurts threw 16 touchdown passes and just one interception through the Eagles' first 10 games this season, leading to an 8-2 start. He totaled three touchdown passes, five interceptions and two fumbles during the Eagles' active three-game losing streak.
But Sirianni shut down the idea of moving the quarterback to the bench at any point this season, despite his struggles.
