Dec. 9 (UPI) -- Jalen Hurts committed a career-high five turnovers, including two on the same play, in a Philadelphia Eagles loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
"Credit to that defense being able to be as disruptive as they were," Hurts, who totaled four interceptions and a fumble in the 22-19 loss Monday in Inglewood, Calif., told reporters.
"Ultimately, it's a test and a challenge that I accept. I look at it and I have the focus to learn from it."
The nightmare night included Hurts throwing an interception and fumbling during a single second-quarter sequence. He completed just 21 of 40 passes for 240 yards and failed to throw or run for a touchdown for the first time this season.
