There’s another megaship coming to Florida. MSC Cruises will bring its World Class to Port Canaveral with the launch of MSC World Atlantic in late 2027.
The 6,758-guest vessel will combine popular elements of its predecessors – like MSC World America, which launched in 2025 – with new additions, according to Lynn Torrent, president of MSC Cruises North America. “So, some things will be very similar in terms of the positioning of our European style and American comfort,” she told USA TODAY. “It's working so well here in the U.S., and then within the spaces and the experiences, there'll be some new things.”
MSC World Atlantic opened for bookings on Dec. 10 (announced via video message from MSC World America's godmother, Drew Barrymore). Here’s what travelers should know.
Viva La Musica will make its debut as one of more than 30 restaurants and bars on board. “The theme here will be a vibrant new venue that celebrates Latin culture with live music, and there'll be dancing and high-energy nightlife, and that will take the place of MSC World America's (Fizz) Champagne Bar, which is in the heart of the (World) Galleria,” Torrent said.
There will be a cocktail bar, a stage and “plenty of comfortable nooks” to sit and enjoy the music.
