Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for president in 2028?

Nope, according to his wife, actor Cheryl Hines.

“Gosh, he’s not going to run for president,” Hines told NewsNation’s Elizabeth Vargas in an interview promoting her new book, “Unscripted,” on Monday, which swerved any talk on the ongoing fallout of her husband’s digital affair with journalist Olivia Nuzzi.

But the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star then admitted that she didn’t think, when she first got together with Kennedy, that “he was going to go into politics, and the next thing you know, he’s telling me he wants to run.”

“I’m going to say, no he’s not,” Hines said, before slightly backtracking when talking about how running for president is “such a specific moment in time for anybody” and that there’s no real road map for how and when to do it.
