First Lady Melania Trump, tired of noisy White House construction, has returned to public view for the holidays after staying quiet for much of President Donald Trump's first year back in office.
The first lady appeared alongside her husband for the White House Christmas tree lighting Thursday, Dec. 4 in Washington D.C., one of several public outings over the past three weeks. She spoke with military families and American troops Nov. 19 at Fort Lejeune and welcomed the White House Christmas tree Nov. 24.
The following day, Trump helped ceremonially pardon a pair of turkeys, Gobble and Waddle, during the wacky annual tradition. Now fully in the holiday spirit, the first lady has been a constant presence at ceremonial events in recent weeks.
Late last month, Trump announced the launch of her "Muse Films" production company on social media with a brief video unveiling its official logo.
Muse's first project is the upcoming film titled "Melania," which is slated to release first in theaters nationwide Jan. 30 and then Amazon's Prime Video streaming service. The documentary follows Trump during the 20 days before her family returned to the White House following Inauguration Day on Jan. 20.
