Insead has topped the FT’s 2025 European Business Schools Ranking, ahead of HEC Paris and London Business School in second and third places.

The composite ranking is based on the performance of more than 100 European business schools across five annual FT rankings: for MBAs, Executive MBAs, Masters in Management and open and custom executive education programmes.

This is the second time that Insead, in Fontainebleau, south-east of Paris, has headed the European table, after reaching the top last year. The school, which ranked among the top six European-based institutions across all the programmes examined, also has campuses in Singapore and Abu Dhabi in the UAE. Its operations reflect a growing trend for schools to expand elsewhere across Europe and the world.

Francisco Veloso, Insead’s dean, says: “We see ourselves as the business school for the world. We understand how the world sees opportunities differently . . . we now sit in two of the fastest-growing markets in the world: Singapore and Abu Dhabi.”
