The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is looking into a newly reported sexual battery allegation against Sean "Diddy" Combs.
News of the investigation, reported by ABC News and the Associated Press, comes a little over a month after Combs, 56, was sentenced to several years in prison following a conviction on federal prostitution charges.
The Los Angeles Sheriff's Office received a report detailing the alleged assault on Friday, Nov. 14, from the police department in Largo, Florida, where the alleged victim lives, ABC and the AP report.
"We received an official copy of the report," Deputy Alejandra Parra wrote in a statement to USA TODAY. "Special Victims Bureau will be investigating the allegations."
