Memory giant Sandisk has taken the wraps off the new Sandisk Extreme Fit USB-C flash drive. The company says this is the world’s smallest 1TB USB-C flash drive and is designed to stay put once it’s plugged into a laptop’s USB-C port. The tiny drive is aimed at professionals, students and everyday users who just need more space on their laptop or tablet but don’t want large or ugly external drives and cables.
The new drive provides discreet leave-in storage for rapid file transfers and comes in capacities of up to 1TB so that users to can add extra storage to their devices while staying productive on the go and without having to cart cables and separate drive enclosures around.
Sandisk has developed the new drive specifically for the latest breed of slim USB-C laptops and tablets that so many people are now using for work and study. The Sandisk Extreme Fit USB-C flash drives offers high-capacity storage but with a perfectly snug fit that can be plugged in and forgotten when moving between meetings, working on the commute or taking notes during a lecture.
