In the new trailer for the movie Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die, a man claiming to be from the future shows up at a Los Angeles diner to deliver a foreboding warning: “All of this goes horribly wrong.”
“This,” of course, is the present. But if the disheveled time-traveling man can recruit a team to join him on a one-night quest to save the world from a rogue artificial intelligence, maybe everything will turn out all right. “The revolution begins tonight,” the man proclaims.
The sci-fi adventure comedy from Oscar and BAFTA-winning director Gore Verbinski stars Sam Rockwell as the mysterious visitor, clad in a dripping wet cyberpunk-style suit that looks cobbled together from wires, circuit boards, gears, hoses, tubes and other scraps scavenged from a ruined city.
