Both the Congress and AAP attacked the government on Tuesday (November 11, 2025) over alleged security lapses that “led to the blast at the Red Fort” which left over a dozen people dead. This came as Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced a compensation of ₹10 lakh each to the families of the deceased.

“Those permanently disabled due to the blast will receive ₹5 lakh, the seriously injured ₹2 lakh, and those with minor injuries ₹20,000,” the Chief Minister’s Office said in a statement
The CPI(M)’s Delhi unit has urged people to stand united against terrorism and against the politics of hatred that seeks to divide society. The party also appealed to the people of Delhi to maintain peace and unity, and not to fall prey to provocations.
Delegations from both the Congress and the AAP visited the injured people at the LNJP Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.
