Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday laid the foundation stones, in virtual mode, for seven major industries coming up in Kuppam of Chittoor district.

The new projects, including Hindalco, Srija Dairy, Ace International, SVF Soya, Mother Dairy, E–Royce EV, and the ALEAP Women’s Industrial Park, together involve an investment of ₹2,203 crore. The government has allocated 241 acres for the projects. These ventures are expected to generate more than 22,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities.

Speaking after the ceremony, Mr. Naidu said the State government was providing full support and ensuring fast-track clearances for industries through the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB), while developing specialised hubs such as Space City, Drone City, and Aerospace City.

“Kuppam, once considered backward, is now turning into a model constituency for industrial and social progress,” the Chief Minister said.

Among the key projects, Hindalco is setting up a ₹586-crore aluminium extrusion unit for high-end mobile and tech components, while Srija Dairy is investing ₹290 crore in an integrated dairy and cattle feed unit that will benefit women and farmers.
