The Supreme Court on Thursday (November 6, 2025) declined to intervene in a plea by former Uttar Pradesh MLA Mohammed Abdullah Azam Khan, son of Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan, to quash charges of procuring a passport using forged documents.
“We are not inclined to interfere,” Justice M.M. Sundresh, who was heading the Bench, addressed senior advocate Kapil Sibal, appearing for Mr. Khan.
