SEOUL, Oct. 28 (UPI) -- South Korea's Hana Bank said Tuesday the Seoul-based lender posted $730 million in net profit during the third quarter of 2025, up 1.5% from a year earlier.
For the first nine months of the year, Hana Bank reported a record $2.18 billion in the bottom line, up 12.7% year-on-year.
Hana Bank's strong performance underpinned that of Hana Financial Group, which netted $787 million in profit during the June-September period, beating market expectations of less than $750 million.
Hana Financial Group has such affiliates as Hana Bank, Hana Card, Hana Securities and Hana Capital.
