Singer Raye has said her songbooks stolen last year when her car was broken into, meaning her album two plans had to be put on hold, have been found.

The star had been working on the follow-up to her multi-Brit Award-winning debut My 21st Century Blues.

But in an Instagram post last year, she revealed the vehicle containing the books had been robbed - on her birthday no less - meaning there would be "no second album any time soon".

But this week she revealed the car had actually been found several months later, along with the "untouched" material, which she described as a "rollercoaster journey" to have been on.

She first shared the news of the car theft online along with a picture of a birthday cake with the the words "sorry ur car got stolen" written on it.
