In the dialect of Reggio Emilia, a town midway between Parma and Bologna, the word liffo can mean two things: either a person who really enjoys their food, or food that’s particularly delicious. For two Italian tech entrepreneurs, Stefano Pedrazzi and Massimiliano Delsante, the word sums up a love of regional gastronomy, and it’s also the name they’ve given to a unique cooking robot that, they believe, will redefine the domestic kitchen.
