Keith Urban is setting the record straight after fans analyzed his lyric swaps post-Nicole Kidman split.
The country star slammed overspeculation into recent lyric changes of his hit tracks during live performances.
"This song, I've sang it this way a long time. Stop reading … into it," Urban said of his lyric change to "You'll Think of Me" at the final stop of his High and Alive World Tour in Nashville on Oct. 17, drawing a thunderous roar.
The country star has been drawing heat online, with some dubbing his theatrical performances of "You'll Think of Me" during the tour as "crash-outs."
In his Oct. 17 performance, Urban once again changed the lyrics from "but you'll think of me," instead shouting, "but I bet you think about me," as seen in social media video.
