SEOUL, Oct. 22 (UPI) -- South Korea's telecom operator KT announced it has opened an enterprise innovation hub in the country in partnership with U.S. tech giant Microsoft.
KT noted in a release Monday that the two companies have collaborated to launch the Seoul-based hub, which is intended for corporate clients to experience artificial intelligence-powered solutions and receive related consulting services.
The 6,404-square-foot facility is composed of four thematic zones, including the AI transformation gallery. Visitors can explore exhibits activated via voice and touch interaction, according to KT.
KT said Microsoft has supported the launch by providing workshops based on its extensive customer engagement experience and proven programs, while also sharing its strategic sales expertise.
This is not the first time the two companies cooperated. Late last year, they signed a five-year partnership, which included KT's investment in AI, cloud technologies and info-tech businesses.
