Suni Lee is asking critics to “stop bullying” her after an appearance at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Week show last week.
The Olympic gold medalist walked the runway during the brand’s revived fashion show on Thursday, joining fellow athlete Angel Reese and storied VS Angels like Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel and Adriana Lima.
Lee said she faced backlash after her appearance, as she posted a TikTok with the caption “can u guys stop bullying me” over the weekend.
The short clip showed Lee singing along to Ariana Grande’s song “Successful” in the mirror. Though Lee didn’t directly address why she was being bullied, she did answer one telling comment.
“Girl I got your back. Why are people bullying you because of your height, like u can’t control that bro,” one commenter wrote.
